Key examples of actual projects delivered:
- Streamlining and automating a major printing manufacturer, enabling growth from $30 million to $175 million through business re-engineering, operational automation, streamlining and molding.
- Single source for major database applications for Fortune 100 corporate department
- Complete soft-goods and widget supply chain management process and system for major regional financial services company. Six-figure ongoing contract, seven figure ongoing structural cost savings (including direct and indirect). System includes management, hosting and oversight of purchases, shipping, order status etc. from dozens of desperate purchasing and supplier locations, including numerous suppliers.
- Enterprise-wide factory/business operations tracking system. Systemized a manufacturing company completely, from the inside out for purposes of tracking, managing, costing forecasting, cost containment, financial reporting, planning, building products, and growing the company. The system allowed the company to remain at record sales and very acceptable (and daily tracked) profit levels, in the face of local competition, a recession and direct foreign competition.
- Regulatory compliance tracking: Developed and deployed a system wide process, ingredient and component tracking discipline to comply with both practical internal needs and regulatory oversight.
- Created a workflow automation system for a title insurance company that included document management, order processing and tracking, remote location processing, cross-referenced and integrated document search system, and total output document generation from Commitment, to Policy Issuance and tracking, to Deed Preparation, and online tracking and updating by ordering parties.
- Created a workflow client-server application that allowed a print distributor to take on actual print manufacturing and increase sales volume over 50% in a one year period. This application covered from order entry through shipping processes, including proofing, plate-making, shipping, and packing. We are currently in the process of adding a module to complete the entire cycle through invoicing and billing of customers.
- Working with a major financial services company eBiz designed and developed a .Net web-based application that facilitated the return of product distribution for over 2,500 SKU units to an internal department, improving order entry, inventory control, delivery time, and customer satisfaction. This system included an integrated RF solution that automated the warehouse functions of order picking, receiving, moving, cycle-counting, and physical inventory.
